Fecafoot launches youth football season

Given the difficulties in the different categories, the competition launched recently anticipates great expectations. This year, the Cameroon Football Federation aims to make the competition better.

The competition was launched with the opening of the season at (U-12) Benjamins, Minimes (U-15) and Cadet (U-17). In a context marked by the inglorious elimination of Cameroon of the cadets CAN 2015 in Niger, it is more than ever anticipated that such Championships allow the youth to unearth and nurture talents of youths.

However, can such young football only be organized today at the height? According to Fecafoot, last year, there were 1,108 clubs affiliated to 22,160 licensees, 58 departments, 50 hosted a local Championship despite the difficulties.
