Hamadou Abdoulaye was overthrown from the Presidency of Etoile Filante de Garoua by an extraordinary general meeting convened by his vice president last September.
The new leadership of the Etoile Filante de Garoua has extended a hand to its former president, Abdouramane Hamadou. After three years at the head of this legendary club of the northern region, Abdouramane could not raise the club from ligue 2.
This lack of results had then forced the vice president, Hamadou Abdoulaye, to convene an extraordinary general meeting. During this extraordinary Assembly, Abdouraman Hamadou was ejected as president and replaced by an agronomist, Hamadou Abdoulaye.
For the engineer in question, this is not a coup d'etat against Abdouramane. "I don't know why people say that my election to the head of the Etoile Filante de Garoua is a coup d'etat against Abdouramane ", he indicated. "I was elected president by a general meeting. I have no problem with Abdouramane. He is also a little brother that I respect. I need his experience and contribution to develop the club. I encourage Abdouraman Hamadou to join us so that together we can move Etoile Filante de Garoua out of its darkness," informed Hamadou Abdoulaye.
Informed of the outstretched hand of Abdoulaye, Abdouramane responded "He is raving...as to say that the part is not completed". Despite the congratulatory letter addressed by the Chairman of the Committee for standardisation to Abdoulaye, Abdouramane Hamadou continues his fight at the level of justice and remains convinced that he will win the battle and will take over the Presidency of Etoile Filante de Garoua.
