The League of professional football in Cameroon released statistics of the 2013-2014 Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 seasons last weekend.
Among the outstanding information, Kamilou Daouda, striker of cotton Sport de Garoua and Dikwa Lega, Panther striker were selected as the best players of the season in their respective divisions. The electorate was comprised of club coaches in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 Championships.
Ligue 1, Kamilou Daouda tops with five votes on 19, about 26.31% of the vote. He is ranked just before his teammate Loïc Feudjou and Gregroire Nkámá of Panther du Nde, top scorer of the season with 16 goals. Designated as best player of the final of the cup of Cameroon, Kamilou Daouda ended the season with 10 goals.
In Ligue 2, Dikwa Lega had six votes on 18, 33.33% of the votes. Panther player ranks far ahead of Pierre Boyomo of Feutcheu FC (three votes, 16.66% of the votes) and Djeukam of Botafogo FC (two votes, 11.11% of the votes). Icing on the cake, Dikwa Lega was also top scorer of the Ligue 2 Championship with 20 goals.
