The construction of the multi-purpose stadium of Kouekong site is at 73% completion according to our sources. At the site less than a dozen Chinese and Cameroonians were working on the playground embankments as all major works have already been done.

According to the regional delegate of Sports and Physical Education of the West, Idele Petchoukouang, who led the mission of the Department of public procurement, the targeted completion time will be met.

"We are today at 73% achievement rate. We have two delay stages", explained Idele Petchoukouang. However, the problem of electricity is still present.

According to the delegate, this problem is due to the fact that the quote Eneo had committed was exorbitant. The Minister of Sports and Physical Education decided to revive the study of the quote to be able to put it into execution.

This problem will be solved, because the water problem is already underway. "The Cameroonian water has already started its work. Excavations for the piping to 3 km from the site have already been launched which will enable them to bring water to the stadium", indicated Idele Petchoukouang.
