Liberia's Premier League Champions-the Liberia Shipping and Corporate Registry (LISCR) Football Club will today, Thursday, February 14, 2014 leave for Duada, Cameroon to honor her first leg match of the Orange African Champions League.

The Liberian side will play Cameroonian Champions Union Duala in the first preliminary encounter. Winner of the two-leg-match will progress to the next stage (group stage) of the competition. LISCR won the competition last year, but was thrown out of the competition following two defeats suffered to former Ghanaian Champions Berekum Chelsea.

The Cameroonian side, which used to be one of the strongest teams back in the 1980s, has dropped form in the past two decades, as recent football in Cameroon has been dominated by Canon Yaoundé. It can be recalled that the last time the Union Duala played against a Liberian team was back in the 1980s-against Mighty Barrolle.
