Gladys Bessong Agbor, one of the new comers to the Lionesses' den has the lofty dream of making Cameroon proud if she makes it to the final list of players to represent Cameroon during the Women’s Championship in Namibia come October.

“If selected for Namibia 2014, I am going to make Cameroon proud as an attacker”, she says. Her performance during the first external training camp convinced the Coach, Enow Ngachu to select her among the 27 players to go to camp from August 7-20 August.

Though Agbor found the first training very difficult because as a student she was preparing for her GCE exams and did not have enough time to train, she is determined to work hard, “I know I can do it and I am doing it”.

Playing since her childhood days, Agbor, former player of Queen Victoria who plays for Best Stars of Limbe trains with Njalla Quan Sports Academy, dreams of becoming a professional. “I want to play in Europe, Arsenal female football team, in England”.

“Life in the national team is not difficult but very interesting”, the new comer to the team says. But, she has to compete with professional players and other regulars to stay in the national team and to book her place in the final squad to defend the national colours in Namibia.
