Man City eyeing Samuel Eto'o with New York City FC offer

Manchester City are interested in released Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o.

Eto’o is wanted by City for their new MLS franchise, New York City FC.

City have already signed former Chelsea teammate Frank Lampard for NYCFC, along with David Villa from Spanish Liga champs Atletico Madrid.

Despite holding talks with Juventus, AS Roma and Tottenham, Eto’o remains on the market.

City hope to convince the Cameroon legend to continue his career in New York, though the veteran has also met with West Ham United officials in recent days about another 12 months in the Premier League.
