Pro Bowl defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh had a dilemma when he recently signed with the Miami Dolphins: His number with the Detroit Lions -- No. 90 -- was already taken by new teammate and fellow starting defensive tackle Earl Mitchell.
While many big-time players ask, demand, beg, or pay to keep their jersey number, depending on the situation, Suh took an easier approach and announced Friday afternoon on Twitter and Instagram that he is going back to his college roots of No. 93 from Nebraska.

Suh's No. 93 undoubtedly will be one of the most popular Dolphins jerseys in South Florida. Miami is a team that lacks heavy starpower and now has it in Suh.
Expect to see plenty of No. 93 jerseys at Sun Life Stadium in the fall.
