Godlove Ngabsebuin from the North West Region of Cameroon wins this year’s edition of the Mount Cameroon Race of Hope. He arrived at the finish line seconds ahead of the former Champion Eric Mbatcha who grabbed the trophy in 2014.
After he emerged winner in 2012 and 2013, he missed the prestigious title, ‘King of the Mountain’ when he lost to his brother from the same region Eric Mbatcha in 2014.
He comes back into the race this year full swing making it to the finish line in less than ten seconds before the 1st runner up Eric Mbatcha. At this moment, the first lady for the female category is still expected at the Molyko Omnisport stadium.
As an innovation, the veterans selected for this race was classified by age and a winner will be based on each category. In the table of awards, the amounts of premiums remittances to the winners of the last edition in the senior ladies and gentlemen categories will be maintained; 10 million Cfa Francs for the winner, 5 million for the second and three million for the third.
