Cameroon defender Nicolas Nkoulou is set to choose between a move to either Olympique Lyon or Roma within the next few days.
The 26-year-old Indomitable Lions player is out of contract at Olympique Marseille and is a free agent looking to be snapped up by some major European names.
L’Equip Sports reports that Nkoulou arrived in Lyon on Monday to have discussions with OL over a possible move to the Ligue 1 club.
However, the West African could yet opt for a transfer to Serie A, with his agent Maxime Nana confirming to PagineRomaniste that Roma are keen on signing the player.
“I deny all rumours that Nicolas has a French passport," Nana explained in regards to a love out of Ligue 1. “He would have to be signed as a foreigner.
“I can confirm that Roma are interested. Right now there are some talks being held with the directors of Roma, although nothing has been agreed and no conclusion has been reached yet."
