The two leaders of the junior national team which is preparing for the Africa Cup of Nations slated for February 2015 in Niger, formally denied an "imaginary" brawl announced by the media between the two men.

On Tuesday morning, Fm 105, a member of the CRTV Littoral announced on its show "FM Foot", a fight between Nicolas Tonye, junior lions assistant coach and Dr. Ferdinand Ngoh, team doctor currently at the technical Centre of the Cameroon Football Federation headquarters, Odja in Yaounde in preparation for the AFOCN in Niger in February 2015.

According to the information aired during this program, a sum of 1 million Cfa Francs, paid by the parent of a player was the root of this altercation.

Contacted by Radio Equinoxe to verify the facts, the two concerned officials were stunned. "I think that people are not happy with the fact that we are qualified, that is why they continue to do the things they do. I do not know how they can announce such news. I arrived at five o'clock in the morning from Douala where I spent the weekend and I am told that I fought since five o'clock in the morning. I am just seeing Ngoh. We are working calmly, we have so many problems at the level of accommodation, administrative documents of the players, you know, among the juniors, there are many who have no identification card, many don't even have birth certificates. We are trying to do everything for them and we are told that we are trying to fight, I think it is pure imagination," Reacted coach Nicolas before passing the phone to Dr. Ferdinand Ngoh, who had already received an SMS on the subject.

"I received an SMS this morning from one of the 105 FM listeners who said I'm trying to fight. I was getting out of the shower and Nicolas who arrived this morning tired, was lying on his bed, I made him read the SMS, and together, we just laughed. I do not know where this information came from or what it is due, but, we can see what's behind, it is this same campaign that continues. You see that it is the phone of the coach Nicolas I used to answer your call, we are all housed at the technical Centre in Odja, for those who have said that the fight took place at the hotel, they do not know that we are staying at the Fecafoot Technical Center".
