Owona endorses John Begheni Ndeh, excludes six from FECAFOOT elections

After the renewal of the governing offices of departmental football league, the electoral process in the Cameroon football Federation will be held on Friday 7th November, at the stage of the ten regional leagues in the national triangle.

On the eighteen nominations received by the Electoral Committee Chair Joseph Owona, six have been invalidated due to irregularities in the constitution lists. Excuded candidates include: Aboubakar Siroma (Adamaoua region), Joseph Feutcheu (West region), Emmanuel Loga (Littoral region), Charles Baninga (East region), Atah Robert Bahazah (North West region) an Luc Assamba (Centre region).

In his decision on the eligibility of candidates, Joseph Owona explains that the applicants declared ineligible do not meet the regulatory conditions.

After the polls in ten regional leagues, the Cameroon football Federation members are expected at Yaoundé November 29, 2014 for the election of the new president of Fecafoot. Candidates will be known no later than November 17, 2014.

List of eligible candidates for the elections within the regional leagues: Adamawa League: Mohamadou Abbo, Centre League: Fabien Mvogo, East League: Essoufou Joseph, Far North League: Boubakar Bello, Littoral League: Batamack Pierre Joseph, West League: Wembe Samuel, North League: Aboubakar Alim Konaté, Northwest League: Kaba Christopher and John Begheni Ndeh, South league: Zam Jean Jacques, Southwest League: Mbella Moki Charles and Nkongho Félix Agbor.
