The president of the Board of Directors of Union Sportive de Douala made this revelation during the show "Dimanche des Sports" on Sweet Fm, a radio station based in Douala.

Franck Happi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union Sportive de Douala, said he has been very worried about his safety for quite some time.

According to him who is also Vice-president of the Cameroon Professional Football League, a meeting was held about two weeks ago in a Hotel in Douala, which had on its agenda, a project for his physical elimination.

Gamakaï Nassara explained this meeting was held "with a well-known journalist" and who works in a public media. "I can no longer enter a studio freely, I'm afraid to be poisoned. We go too far for football, simply because there is no agreement, regretted the sports leader who was invited to the show "Dimanche des Sports" presented by Duvalier Monkam on Sweet Fm, Douala-based radio.

To the president of Union de Douala, who had already been assaulted by "identified people" during the election of the President of the League of Football in the Littoral at Hotel Lewat in Douala, November 12, this persecution against his person begun after the elections to the professional football league to designate 20 representatives of this institution in the election of the president of the Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot).

"The starting point is the election to the League. We decided to put aside all those who are considered as having criminal behaviors with football: bribery arbitrators, purchase of matches which is the trend existing at the Professional Football League," explained Franck.

He said he remained silent for several months because his club, Union de Douala was still in competition. "It was not time to talk. You know me, I do not have fear for the media, on the contrary, it is an exercise which I adore. The season is over, now, I can speak." He said.

Not without condemning the impunity which reigns in football circles in Cameroon which produces objectionable behaviors. "It must stop. That is, they must be sanctioned at the level of the Federation and if possible even at the civil level, even at the criminal level. People cannot fall out because there is no agreement. There may not be an agreement and we continue to work together".

It is to put an end to this impunity that the PCA of Union de Douala lodged a complaint against the authors of his aggression on November 12 at the Hotel Lewat.
