Siakam named CSM WAC Player of the Week

Freshman Pascal Siakam has been named College Sports Madness WAC Men’s Basketball Player of the week.

Siakam averaged 17.5 points and eight rebounds to in wins over Texas Southern and UC Irvine.

A native of Cameroon, Siakam scored a career-high 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field to propel NM State past TSU 54-52. He also snagged eight rebounds and recorded one block.

Against UC Irvine he logged 32 minutes on the court and scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lift the Aggies to a 70-67 win.
