An auditor has been appointed to assist the Special Criminal Court with its investigations of the FECAFOOT Normalisation Committee.

The World football governing body, FIFA, is still unclear with the Court for Arbitration of Sports' decision to nullify Fecafoot elections that was slated for February 25, and thus has extended for the third time the mandate of the Normalization Committee.

The committee is still going to be in office following the prolongation of their mandate by FIFA.

This extension looks too humiliating for someone who has held the most important positions in the Cameroonian administration.

The extension of the mandate of the Normalization committee of Fecafoot is now seen as an ultimate opportunity for Joseph Owona who is the president of the committee to leave with dignity after his inability to resolve the reoccurring issues of elections.

This time will allow Joseph Owona to leave the Tsinga house after 20 months in service together with his driver, his bodyguard, the head of the communication, his private secretary and those to whom they constantly gives contracts, especially some of his children. So it takes a little time for these people to pack up their bags and luggages.

This is also an opportunity for Joseph Owona to erase some evidence, concerning the management of money from Cameroon football.

The extension will also allow the Government to continue negotiations with FIFA to put in place a provisional committee that will manage the transition and organize new elections.

Eden learnt that Louis Marie Abogo Nkono former Secretary General at the Prime Minister Office and former Minister of service areas and Land Affairs could be chosen to lead the transition of FECAFOOT, against the wish of so many soccer pundits who want but a former footballer to take over from Joseph Owona, after the failure of the professor.

Meanwhile, the Special Criminal Court, which has been tracking developments concerning the Cameroon football federation for some time now has come to appoint an auditor to review the accounts of FECAFOOT for the period of 2009-2014.

It must be said that this period is not chosen by chance. Those who follow the affairs of FECAFOOT know very well that it was in 2009 that Tombi A Roko Sidiki was brought in as Secretary General of the Cameroon football federation.

So Eden strongly believes that, the court is going back to that date because it wants to see clearly its management.

Including 2014, the court wants to find out the escapades of Joseph Owona, who has been in business in 2014.

It should be noted that before appointing the auditor to carry out the assignments, the court shall interview first of all, some employees of the Fecafoot Secretariat in order to verify the accounting documents in question to ascertain if there is some consistency in their statements.

As concern 2014, a delegation was in Angola, Austria, Germany and Brazil to see what the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon World Cup campaign has actually cost taxpayers in the country.

According to some indiscretions, several false invoices were not made to justify the many expenses, including the lease of the aircraft that transported the Indomitable Lions to Brazil for the World Cup.

For the lions training camp in Austria, it was Volker Finke, the coach of the lions who negotiated the training place and set up commissions to manage the camp.

Following the investigations that are still going, it is likely that in the weeks ahead, heads will certainly roll at the Lions camp and Fecafoot Normalization committee.

The government of Cameroon has finally decided to put those destroying Cameroon football to shame as those who think they are the untouchables at the corridors of the Cameroon football federation will soon become the scapegoats and as a result Cameroon football will certainly get back to its glorious days if and only if square peaks will be put in square holes for the goodness of Cameroon football.
