For the election of the new president of the Cameroon Football Federation scheduled for February 25, 2015, the Electoral Commission met at the headquarters to bring out the list of qualified candidates.
After a review of documents of the contenders, the Electoral Commission said that only Tombi A Roko and Atah Robert qualify to contest for the position of the president.
Joseph Antoine Bell, Jules Nyongha, Pene Robert and Brigite Mebande were again disqualified. "We launched the electoral process which is a process of legitimation in this context.
We reopened the constitution of records, we found out that some candidates have completed their files, while others did nothing at all. In the end, two people on the lists have been accepted: that is Mr. Tombi A Roko and Mr. Atah as they fulfilled all the requirements "explained Joseph Owona, Chairman of the Electoral Commission.
Thus, Tombi A Roko, the current Secretary-General of Fecafoot who was the lone candidate in the cancelled election of November 29, will in February 25 be facing Atah Robert, the current technical director of national number 3. But the boss of the administration of the Cameroonian King sport remains the Grand favorite.
