The election of the successor of Iya Mohammed, the outgoing president of the Cameroon football Federation, will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014.

Tombi A Roko, the Secretary General of Fecafoot and his entourage continue to keep people in suspense. "Have some patience, when the time comes you will be told whether or not he is a candidate. For now, news which concerns us and that issue is important to Cameroonians, is the qualifiers match to be played by the indomitable Lions this weekend" responded some relatives of Tombi A Roko who we met at the entrance of the headquarters of Fecafoot in Yaoundé, our source revealed.

But our sources within the Electoral Commission confirmed that Tombi A Roko did not wait on the deadline of Monday, November 17, 2014 to apply. "His Candidature file was received this Friday (November 14, 2014)."

According to an official close to the Federation, Tombi A Roko will face journalists in a week to lift the veil on his ambitions as the head of the Fecafoot. Thus, the current Secretary general of the umbrella Forum of sport in Cameroon gives a favourable response to the many calls made by football players scattered in ten regional dismemberments of the Fecafoot.

They sought the candidacy of Tombi for the succession of Iya Mohammed. While waiting for the Electoral Committee Chair Joseph Owona to make the selection, the Secretary General of Fecafoot has as contenders, Bell Joseph Antoine, Frédéric Jules Nyongha, Eboa Elame Mikado, Joseph Feutcheu and Robert Pené.

Apart from Tombi A Roko, all the other contenders will need to be sponsored by eight delegates of this Assembly.
