Tombi à Roko as lone candidate for FECAFOOT presidency

A late press conference rejected the other candidates who were vying for the post of president.

The press conference scheduled yesterday by members of FECAFOOT to declare the list of confirmed candidates for the post of president of the federation, finally took place after three hours of wait.

Those who had posed their candidatures were: Robert Atah, Joseph Antoine Bell, Robert Penne, Jules Nyongha and Brigitte Mebande. Most of them were said to have failed to complete their files.

In effect, FECAFOOT had given all those interested in the post of president of FECAFOOT up till yesterday 20 November 2014 to complete their files. A press statement to that effect was made public ahead of the deadline.
