The draws for the U-23 African championship in football have been rendered public by the confederation of African football.
Cameroon has again been exempted from the first round and will only be joining the campaign in the second round. They will face the winner of the first round encounter between Guinea Bissau and Sierra Leone and in case of victory, will take on Algeria in the third round.
According to the CAF communiqué, all players participating in the preliminary and final tournament of U-23 African Championship should be born on or after 1 January 1993.
The top three teams of the U-23 African Championship, Senegal 2015, shall qualify to the Olympic Games in Rio 2016. The first round matches will take place in May, the second round in July and August
