Angry supporters of the national team, have reportedly assaulted coach Finke. This happened on his return to Cameroon capital, Yaounde.

This time, the very relative confidence given by the Cameroonian public to Volker Finke appeared permanently broken. According to sources, the Indomitable Lions German coach was attacked in Yaoundé. Health report of the ill-fated noted that he sustained minor injuries.


"Volker Finke's days are already numbered, even his phlegm is nothing compared to what awaits him”, declared the delegation of Cameroon from Malabo at the airport.

Volker Finke was accused of betraying the spirit and the letter of reform at the expense of the success of the national team. In the camp of the Indomitable Lions building, the walls are dominated by influential groups.


Joseph-Antoine Bell, the former international goalkeeper argued that, "despite a great start in the aftermath of the World Cup 2014, the team still needs to do some homework".
