Facing the Super Falcons of Nigeria, the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in search for their first title of African champions, will finish at worst second overall.

So it is certain that after the game, they will leave with as a better team than the previous Equatorial Guinea CAN 2012 team that finished third.

In addition to improving their last performance in this test, the Indomitable Lionesses won their game last Wednesday at the expense of Ivory Coast, securing their first participation in the finals of the World Cup, Canada 2015.

With a record of three wins, one loss in four games and qualifying for the World Cup, the Indomitable Lionesses showcased in Windhoek, the best performance in their history.

What can be considered as a reason for this latest achievement?

Almost everything except money. The mark of war whose absence is often held up as a sign of some pretext to justify failures in no way is not part of the elements that contributed to the motivation of the Cameroonian players throughout the CAN 2014.

Against all odds, and despite a decree of the Head of State that sets deadlines for the publication of various bonuses to be paid to national teams engaged in international competitions, the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) and the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education (MINSEP), left Lionesses to go to Windhoek for CAN (From 12 to 25 October 2014), with no sight of winning bonuses.

The arrival yesterday in the Namibian capital of Joseph Owona chairman of the Standards Committee of Fécafoot and Adoum Garoua, Minister of Sport for tonight's final against Nigeria has not changed this incredible situation in the den of the lionesses.

"Never seen before! A few hours before the final, the authorities have not said anything to the girls. Even in terms of promises. This is the first time in the world I see the national team play a major competition like this without knowing what is planned as bonuses to win at every stage of the competition" a surprised member of the technical staff of the women's national team of Cameroon. "Fortunately, these children have found another source of motivation. Each game, I felt a level of commitment and determination second to none. I believe that only their determination is the secret of their success" says our source within the technical staff.

Moreover, bonuses issues originally create quarrels between players and managers tarnishing the image of the entire nation in the eyes of the world.

Such was the case four months ago during the participation of the Indomitable Lions at the finals of the last World Cup in Brazil.
