Wigan sign Cameroonian international Gaetan Bong after trial

Wigan have signed Cameroon international left-back Gaetan Bong after a successful trial.

The 26-year-old, who was a free agent after leaving Greek side Olympiakos, has penned a deal until the end of the season.

Latics boss Malky Mackay told the club's official website: "I'm delighted Gaetan has agreed to join us.

"He impressed me a lot during the week. He is a terrific athlete, his professionalism stood out immediately and I believe he will be a very good addition to the squad."
