The Indomitable Lions have set up their camp in Sidoarjo, where they will face Indonesia in their Asia tour opener on Wednesday.
Cameroon scheduled a trip to the Far-East during this first FIFA window of the year, with another friendly encounter to follow against Thailand in Nonthaburi on March 30.
National coach Volker Finke left Douala on Sunday, together with assistants Alexandre Belinga and Bonaventure Djonkep as well as Unisport’s defender Denis Ngewesi Ndasi, Union Douala’s defender Alexandre Kombi and Cosmos Bafia’s midfielder Christian Zock.
The three locals have been added to a 20-player squad of foreign-based players that includes Schalke 04 striker Eric Choupo-Moting who is recovering from an injury picked up against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.
The twenty professionals were expected to join the camp from across the world on Tuesday.
