Yong Sports Academy (YOSA) started their Professional League One, second league campaigns in style, at home with a 2-1 win against New Star of Douala.
Striker and team Captain, Kongnyuy Jude fired in the winning goal at the 27th minute into the net of New Star keeper, Gwot Kalati following a cross from Nkamfu Gilbert.
New Stars took the lead 33mins into the game with a goal by defender Baba Basile. The home position equalized at the 22nd minute into the second half through Awono Junior.
As the visitors lead in Bamenda till the end of first half, the stadium was void of joy with home supporters repeatedly accusing the referees of cheating and the home coach for poor lineup.
Striker and team Captain, Kongnyuy Jude was given a red card for talking rudely to the first assistant referee, Atezembong Carine.
The game however, ended in one big celebration in Bamenda after the home team took away the three points of the day.

The win moved YOSA FC from ninth to seventh position with 31points while New Star dropped from third to fourth place with 32points.

YOSA will remain in Bamenda to welcome Fovu of Baham on Thursday July 2, 2015. New Star on the other hand, will be at the reunification to host Bamboutos of Mbouda.
