The Cameroon professional football league has classified the Day 21 league One fixture pitting YOSA vs Les Astre as “Top Match.” The match which is one of the five matches programmed for Sunday June 12, 2016, will be played in the Yong Sports Academy Stadium in Mile six Nkwen.

In the last six matches played at home, YOSA has won four, drawn one and lost one scoring a total of seven goals and conceding four.
Away from Douala in the last six, Les Astre has won one match, drawn two and lost three. The Bepanda based club has scored four times and conceded seven.
The Sunday June 12, 2016, will be the 12th meeting between the clubs in the top flight league in Cameroon. In the previous 11 meetings, YOSA has succeeded in going away with only two wins in 2013 and 2015 all in Bamenda.
Les Astre on their part have taken the lion’s share wining six of the 11 matches with one in Bamenda in 2011 and the rest in Douala. Three of the 11 games have ended in draws with two in Bamenda and one in Douala.
This season, YOSA has played 20 matches wining 10, drawing five and losing five after scoring 18goals and conceding 15 recording a total of 35 points.
With a similar number of matches played, les Astre has won six, drawn eight and lost six. The team has averagely scored less than a goal every game totaling 17 and conceding 18 ending with 26 points.
While the Bamenda team is ranked 2nd on the league One table after UMS of Loum, Les Astre is ranked 9th.
Like Les Astre against Bamboutos FC which ended in a virgin tie, YOSA in their last game pulled a 0-0 tie with Dragon of Yaounde.
Sunday’s game is expected to be a revenge moment for YOSA who were beaten 2-1 during the away game in Douala last February 21, 2016 in the reunification stadium despite taking the lead with a goal by team captain Jude Kongnyuy.
