Alex Song has been lavished with praise after his man-of-the-match performance during West Ham’s 2-1 win over Manchester City.
Song picked up the match ball for his display at Upton Park this afternoon, which included a cheeky rabona cross that went viral on Twitter.
And the Cameroon ace was lauded by fans of rival Premier League clubs on social media.
Song left Barcelona for the Hammers on loan in the summer, despite being linked with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool.
Those clubs may be left wondering why they didn’t go in for the 27-year-old now.
