Samuel Eto'o could be on the move again

Sampdoria striker Samuel Eto’o could leave the club only six months after joining, with Fenerbahce circling.

The 34-year-old former Cameroonian international only joined Sampdoria in January after a six-month stint at Everton, but just managed two goals in 18 Serie A appearances.

Tuttomercatoweb report that there have been informal talks between Sampdoria and Fenerbahce regarding the striker’s situation in recent weeks.

Fenerbahce recently appointed ex-Inter man Giuliano Terraneo as their new sporting director, and he has already begun looking in his homeland for possible reinforcements.

The Turkish giants finished second in the league this season, behind rivals Galatasaray.
