Collins Fai makes dream debut as Cameroon see off KV Ostenden

The Cameroonian defender, Fai Collins, played the full encounter in his international debut as Cameroon defeated Belgian Pro League side, KV Oostende 3-1.

The 23-year-old Dinamo Bucure?ti defender put on an excellent show on Thursday afternoon. Playing as a right full back for the Lions, he frequently created danger when going offensively with his crosses.

He seemed a great solution for the defense side that has been a problem for the Lions since the retirement of Geremi Njitap.

The versatile defender’s baptism of fire will be when the Lions face the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Sunday still in Belgium.

Playing against the experienced Nigerian side, Fai will need to stamp his presence in the Lions’ den by stopping the new Nigerian skipper Ahmed Musa.

Fai wore jersey number 12 in the encounter that saw goals from Chedjou, Aboubakar and Njie.
