Ex- FC Barcelona superstars and African legend Samuel Eto’o and Ronaldinho could reportedly reunite in Turkey – and they could be joined by former Juventus maestro Andrea Pirlo to form a deadly trio.
Reports say Antalyaspor president, Gultekin Gencer, has claimed that his club is close to signing free agent Ronaldinho and Pirlo on loan.
“We spoke with (Ronaldinho’s) agent, I don’t see why he should turn us down,” Gencer told Football Italia.
“We have his OK for the transfer. Next year we’ll have the Expo (the Horticultural Exposition), so we’re expecting the city’s support.
“The meetings with (Ronaldinho) continue. We have his availability to join our club and wear our colours.”
However, the Antalyaspor president also stated six months ago that Ronaldinho would sign for the club, but the Brazilian ended up joining Fluminense.
