Brother Charly Timoks promotes love, peace and reconciliation in his maiden musical album.

An impressive voice and a scintillating artistic display emerged strong when Brother Charly Timoks mounted the rostrum to present his first musical album in Bamenda recently. Away from his official activities as a Senior Warrant Officer with Military Intelligence (SEMIL) in Bamenda, Charly Timoks impresses as a promoter of gospel music.

He crusades against hate language and divisive tendencies with songs that prescribe love, peace and reconciliation, especially in Cameroon where the common enemy is the terrorist group, Boko Haram. “Let peace reign in Africa and the world,” is the title of his first album featuring eight tracks.

Among the lot is, “Stand up for Jesus!” and others that feature messages of forgiveness, reconciliation and love of one another.

It is all about praise and worship songs which appeal to God to stand by Cameroon, Africa and the world with blessings. Charly Timoks’ songs draw inspiration from the Books of Mark and Matthew in the Bible.

He also showcases experience, having served as a lead drummer in the National Military Orchestra from 1988-1990. The 46-year-old father of four has the support of the military for his additional career with Authorization No. 003032/AUT/MINDEF/01 of August 2, 2013.
