Q: First of all, I want to commend you for the hits you churn out day in day out.

A: Thank You

Q: Could you please tell us what are your real names are?

A: My real names are Fidelis Sangtum.

Q: We would love to know the difference between Fidelis Sangtum and Dijay Pazzo.

A: I have never really thought of something like that. I don’t think there’s any difference because my life rotates around what I do. What I do determines how and when I eat, who I date, where I sleep, how I think, where I go, etc. I just realized that everything am concerned with right now has something to what I do. Dijay Pazzo is the real me.

Q: Are you just a sound engineer/Music producer or you own a record Label?

A: I am creating a structure called The Big ‘Kom’pound’. Under it you are going to have Kompound pictures which is going to be for videos and everything that concerns the camera. Kompound music is also going to be like a record label where we going to have artistes signed under it. Kompound collection is going to be a clothing line as well (we still working on sick designs). It’s a whole industry we are trying to create.

Q: What are your criteria for working with an artiste?

A: My work is based on emotions. When I feel it, I put my heart in it. Of course boys got bills to pay so.. but am very selective with the artistes I work with. You have to know what you are doing for us to really bring out a good end product.

Q: There have been rumours that you caused Gasha’s drop out from Stevens Music Label because you wanted her to stay under you. How true is this allegation?

A: Like I explained before, I am still trying to create a structure called the Big kompound where we are going to start signing artistes. For now, we still working on the structure. Kompound pictures is already in action, doing videos for Gasha and some other artistes who are not signed under Kompound Music.

Q: Are you and Gasha dating?

A: I and Gasha are in a musically magical relationship now. Our relationship is spiritual. We just get into the studio, communicate and make magic. Am not sure you can understand the level of love that lives between us. You can feel it when you listen to her music. ‘e pass boyfren gelfren tins’.

Q: What is a typical day like for you in the studio?

A: Very busy, especially now that many artistes believe in my work more. Everyone wanna work with me. Sometimes I look at my watch like “sh*t!! it’s 11:30pm, I need to eat lunch…” lol.

Q: Do you have any artiste you regret to have worked with? If Yes, who and why?

A: Yea, only with people who come and buy my beats to go keep it in their closets. People who come to work with me for fun. I put my life into every music I make, so ‘e di vex me’ when people come to joke around me. Mind you!

Q: Apart from yourself which other music producer’s work do you admire in Cameroon?

A: Kmer’s got mad talents, Slim beatz, Dj Karl, Le Monstre, Zeelex, Phil Bill beatz and Phil John

Q: Which artiste would you love to work with if you had the opportunity?

A: Don Jazzy cuz I wanna learn allot, Uhuru cuz he’s baaddd, Ryan leslie, Eddy Kenzo, Kanaan, Lukua Kanza, ‘water go comot ma eye if I continue di callam’.

Q: Where do you see the Cameroon music industry in 5 years?

A: Very big if we keep this work energy constant. If no one slackens, we’ll be like Nigeria today in 5 years.

Q: Whats your opinion about artistes quitting Record Labels as soon as they become popular?

A: Do I sense question number 6 coming back? Well, everyone has their dreams and I will advise everyone to push through until your dreams become reality. Don’t stop for nobody.

Q: Any words for your fans?

A: To everyone that loves what I bring to the table, believe in yourself, know that you have something to offer which is what’s ‘gonna’ bring you closest to realizing your dreams. Stay focused, dedicated and hardworking. If you truly truly believe, work towards it, it’s ‘gonna’ come through for you. Thank you
