October 3rd, 2013 - Gasha debuts her first single "kaki Mbere". With this record, Gasha marks her arrival to the African and international music scene with a very unique voice and style. She started singing at about 11years old and has since crafted her music after the many artists that influenced her childhood: Tracy Chapman, Sam Cook, Jason Mraz, Richard Bona, Cold Play, Eboa Lotin, Lauryn Hill, Kem, Donny Elwood to name a few. Her music is heavily influence by Afro sounds but transcends all genre.

Gasha grew up in Douala - Cameroon and fell in love with music at about 11 when her father took her to Arts and Music classes around the city. She did a solo session at the end of one of her classes and decided she was meant to sing. She has since crafted her style after the sounds that influenced her childhood (D'angelo, Boys II Men, KEM, Music Soul Child, Ottou Marcelin, Donny Elwood, Lauryn Hill, Celine Dion) with a deep flavor of Cameroonian Pop Music; especially Makossa.
Gasha is the first artist signed to Steven's Music Entertainment. Fusing Makossa, R&B, Hip Hop, Afro beats and Funk, Gasha makes music that transcends all categories. She refuses to be boxed into one genre, instead, making music that soothes the soul. Her self-titled debut album will be released in Q1 2014.
