Few weeks after the release of his last hit single, ‘Makossa’ with cameo appearances from top entertainment personalities including D’Banj in the top rated video, Cameroonian popular award-winning singer and renown activist, Wax Dey has released the video for the hit song 'Number One Girl' featuring Nigerian crossover star, Dontom.
The video features candidates from Season 1 of his reality TV contest of the same title, Number One Girl, and coincides with Season 2 of the show which is currently airing on Equinoxe TV.
The music and television star says video is dedicated to the memory of his best friend, Nsame 'King' Gideon, with whom he started the TV show, but who lost his life during Season 1.
Wax Dey, born Nde Ndifonka, was named YPIA's Top 35 African under 35 in 2014. He has established himself as a renaissance writer and committed social activist across the African continent, although his music often deals with the lighter subject of love and romance.
