Cameroon entertainment scene is picking up real fast as more and more artistes keep releasing, exhibiting their creativity and making the entertainment industry gain its firm grounds.
Well, another smashing hit is from Tay-O entitled ‘Follow the Lida’. The official video which was released last weekend has a feel of popular African rhythms like Makossa, Bikutsi, Bendskin and Afropop.
Tay-O who was formerly known as ‘Douty’ started writing his own songs at the age of 15 years after which he moved to France, where he is based now. It was there that the pop artiste further exploited his talent by integrating other genres to what he already had in store.
The French/Cameroonian was born and raised in Cameroon thus the reason for his Makossa flair. Tay-O is working on a brand new project which includes the fusion of dancehall, popular African culture and R&B.
“Follow the Lida”, directed by Shamak and Pipiyou as the first single of his album, leaves the listener no choice than to forget all worries and enjoy the song.
