Cameroon increased their chances in Group C of AfroBasket 2015 after beating Gabon 93-67 on Sunday.

It was Cameroon's second victory of the tournament after losing to Egypt on Friday, and Jeremy Nzeulie was the game-changer for the Cameroonians.

He converted on 5 of his 8 three-point attempts to lead all scorers with 25 points, while Francis Kobangoye did everything in his power to give Gabon their first victory, but his efforts were not enough to avoid their third defeat in as many games.

Although it was an entertaining game, it was also a sloppy one too as both teams struggled with the ball handling and each finished with more than 20 turnovers.

Turning Point: Gabon trailed 35-30 at half-time, but opened the third-quarter with a 9-0 run to take the lead. However, Cameroon's aggressive defense ended Gabon's hopes of winning their first game in the tournament.

Stats Don't Lie: The quality of the game was dampened by Gabon's 27 turnovers and Cameroon’s 24.

Game Hero: For the second game in a row, Nzeulie led Cameroon in scoring. Three games into the tournament and he is currently averaging 18.3 points per game.

The Bottom Line: Even though Cameroon improved to 2-1 in the tournament, they seemed to lose focus during the contest, which allowed Gabon to take the lead in the third quarter. Gabon finished the Group-Phase with three defeats in as many games, mainly because of their poor ball handling as well as a modest game plan.
