A large delegation of Belgian Businessmen is expected in Cameroon by 02 December 2014. They come as part of the event, Promote, to be held end of this year (from 6 to 14 December) in Yaoundé, the political capital of Cameroon.
The companies in question represent several industries, including: technical installations, wood processing, training, management software, sound, rail equipment and streetcars, trackways for handling equipment, engineering, strapping, packaging film food.
During their stay in Cameroon, they will contact Cameroonian entrepreneurs interested in collaborations and expansion of their business projects. "They plan to this effect, interviews with business leaders and public, private, employers, unions and professional associations. The objective is to develop effective contact, which will lead to partnerships or trade agreements," explains Bernard Guevorts, Director General of Authentis office and logistics branch of the Delegation in Cameroon.
These companies are supervised by the Walloon Agency for Export and Foreign Investment (AWEX) and BRUSSELS INVEST & EXPORT whose role is to assist Brussels companies in foreign markets.
The arrival of the Belgian delegation in Cameroon is a continuation of actions started during the AFRICA-BELGIUM BUSINESS WEEK 2014 in April 2014. The forum brought together for the first time in Belgium, 400 business decision-makers and policies which 200 Belgian and European companies, 100 private and public companies African and African diplomats.
