2015 edition of Festicoffe slated for April 23

The famous day of tasting that usually punctuate the official opening of the 2015 edition of Festicoffee, the international festival of Cameroonian coffee, will be held this year under the theme "Cameroonian women in coffee."

This tasting day will take place at the Palais des Sports in Yaounde and will expand to 23 other cities in Cameroon including six African cities; Abidjan, Antananarivo, Bangui, Franceville, Libreville and Lomé.

Before the launch of the Cameroon Coffee Day on April 23, the Interprofessional Council of Cocoa and Coffee (CICC), which organizes this event with the support of Ministry of Commerce, announced the hosting of Douala, MELONG, Foumban and Koutaba, exchange trips between the Gabonese and Cameroonian women working in the coffee sector from April 18 to 21, 2015.

Before closing Festicoffee which will occur on April 25, 2015 with the presentation of prizes to the best players in the industry and Miss Coffee election, the event, according to the official program, will be held on April 24 during a forum on the theme "coffee sector: a business opportunity for women."
