8.5 billion FCFA lent to build refrigerated slaughterhouses

Caixabank and Deutsche Bank will soon lend the Cameroonian government 8.5 billion FCFA.

This money will be used to finance the construction of refrigerated slaughterhouses and warehouses in Cameroon. This was revealed in a presidential decree authorising the Economy Minister to sign the loan agreement.

The refrigerated warehouse and slaughterhouse project is a part of the three-year emergency plan being launched by the Cameroonian government this year for a total of 925 billion FCFA.
