Charles Booto à Ngon expressed joy with the fact that the goal set by ANOR was achieved.

Standard, beyond a simple word, refers to a document that defines guidelines to follow to ensure the effective use of products and services.

"Whether furniture, a house or even roads, all things shall be designed according to standards established and adopted", said Charles Booto a Ngon, Director general of the Agency for standards and quality (ANOR).

He expressed satisfaction during a visit in the exhibition stand designed by the structure at Promote. For the occasion, Anor received more than 2,000 visitors, crowd which testifies to the growing interest of the populations for the scope of the standard.

"We maintained our visitors on the notion of standard and especially on the importance of compliance with the standards established in various sectors," explained Charles Charles Booto à Ngon.

The renewed interest of the public with regard to the standards constituted a real source of satisfaction for Charles Booto à Ngon,: "standards are recognized as the engine of any organized system. Their use is a guarantee of success, in the process of development of Cameroon", he said.

Moreover, compliance with the standards is a great advantage for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs): "they provide access to international markets. But ignoring them exposes them to inestimable economic losses," said the Director general of ANOR. Therefore, by 2015, ANOR aims to raise awareness through a comprehensive training program.
