Air France unveils first African destinations

Customers can now enjoy flights to Douala in Cameroon and Malabo in Equatorial Guinea in the new Air France cabins, on board a Boeing 777-200.

The new cabins offer 40 Business seats, 24 Premium Economy seats and 216 Economy seats, with flights departing up to seven times a week throughout the 2015 summer season.

The new cabin design marks the latest renewed travel experience; with Air France investing over €500 million in upgrading its products and services across the network as part of its Best & Beyond project.

The flight to be launched on May 14, 2015, Yaoundé, Cameroon, will be the next destination in Africa to benefit from the comfort of Air France’ new cabin design, with the new cabins set to feature in 21 aircrafts serving 18 or Air France’s long-haul destinations by the end of the 2015 summer season.

Air France-KLM offers flights to 39 destinations in Africa, linking the continent to the hubs at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Amsterdam-Schiphol and 231 destinations worldwide.

In addition, Air France-KLM’s key partnerships with African airlines such as Kenya Airways, Comair and kulula.com, means that the group can offer its customers flights to 20 additional destinations throughout Africa.
