Alain Nkontchou appointed Director of Ecobank

On 3rd December 2014, Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), parent of the Pan-African Banking Group Ecobank, announced the appointment of four new non-executive directors on its Board of Directors. Among them is a Cameroonian, Alain Nkontchou, 51 years, currently CEO of kilobytes Enko Capital Management LLP, an African investment company based in London and founded by his brother Cyrille Kamdem Nkontchou.

Former director general of the Macro Global Trading Group to Credit Switzerland in London, Alain Nkontchou, who studied graduate studies (Université de Paris VI, Supélec, and Ecole Supérieure de commerce of Paris) in electrical engineering, finance and accounting, has also been general manager at JP Morgan Chase & Co, in London.

He thus has "an impressive experience in the generation of tens of millions of dollars in revenues for the companies with which he has worked” noted Ecobank.

Alain Nkontchou, who will certainly represent the Board of Directors of Ecobank, a large customer of Enko Capital Management, will officially join the Council in June 2015, after the ratification of the appointment of the four new non-executive directors by the shareholders of the banking group. This will be at the next annual general meeting of ETI.
