Boeing advises Camair-co to buy 14 aircraft – Report

Based on its existing fleet of five aircraft, CAMAIR-Co will need nine other planes to serve the domestic, continental and international networks.

This recommendation by the consultant goes beyond the expectations of company executives, who had forecast a total of nine aircraft to properly conduct its business plan, instead of the 14 fourteen recommended by Boeing.

According to sources close to the project, Cameroon could revise upward the credit contracted with a syndicate of local banks in favor of the state airline.

The FCFA 25-billion credit line, which is expandable to FCFA 30 billion , of which the disbursement of funds was delayed by the Cameroonian government pending the adoption of a company recovery plan should be primarily for the acquisition of aircraft and maintenance equipment.
