As a prelude to the commissioning of the Kribi deep water port still announced for the second quarter 2016, the Bolloré Group which will operate the container terminal of the largest port infrastructure in Cameroon, with its partners CHEC and CMA CGM, organised a marathon recently in the town of Kribi.
The 42 km route of this race organised in partnership with the Yaoundé Running Club, we learned officially, allowed the marathon runners to discover this port infrastructure whose first phase of construction work (flood barrier then multipurpose and container terminals) were completed a year ago now.
"In accompanying this Yaoundé Running Initiative, Bolloré Africa Logistics confirms its social responsibility action and paves the way for its announced presence at Kribi as part of activities of the container terminal of the deep water port", indicated the integrated logistics French Group in a communiqué published on May 3,2016.
