The Bolloré Africa Logistics group has organized an exhibition on the campus of the University of Yaounde I on September 30, 2014, says a statement released by the group.

The day of exhibition and explanation of the first operating electric bus system (Blue Bus) operated inside the campus by the Bolloré group, coincided with the week of the engineer of the National Polytechnic College of Yaoundé.

Polytechnic students attended the exhibition of the "LMP battery developed by the Bolloré group" and were thus briefed on "the functioning of this innovative technology," which had "from harnessing solar energy to fixing the LMP batteries on the bus through the energy storage and battery charging."

"We've already had to study solar energy at school, so we already know the basic principles. But I appreciated being able to attend a practical use of solar energy in Cameroon," said Arielle Nyebele, 4th year student of mechanical engineering at the Polytechnic.

It was May 2, 2014 that the Bolloré group officially put into operation on the campus of the University of Yaounde I, the first two electric buses operating in Cameroon, to facilitate the transportation of students.

To this date, the industry group estimates, there are over 200,000 people who have already been transported by Blue Buses on the campus of the mother of the Cameroonian universities.
