Britain, China interested in gas, energy and housing

The Secretary General at the Presidency of the Republic, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh has granted audience to the Chief Executive Officer of the British Oil Exploration Company, New Age, Steve Lowden and the President of their partner company, China Poly Technology, Wang Lin.

During the audience on April 20, 2016, both investors expressed their interest in the gas, electricity and housing sectors of Cameroon.

The British CEO explained that his company plans to invest some FCFA 1.250 billion in the development of gas (for liquefaction and export) and electricity in Cameroon.

His company is operating in Cameroon under the name, New Age Cameroon Petroleum.

The President of China Poly Technology on his part, expressed interest not only in gas and energy but also in the housing sector.

At the end of the audience, the British and Chinese investors expressed hope that the cooperation projects will begin as soon as possible.
