Estimated at 75 billion CFA francs in 2013, trade between Cameroon and Turkey, in this year 2014, has already risen to 86.5 billion CFA francs, an increase of more than 11 billion CFA francs in less than a year.

This was made known in the course of a meeting between economic Turkish operators and Cameroonian, organized September 9, 2014 in Douala. However, the trade balance is highly unprofitable for Cameroon, which has so far exported only 25.4 billion CFA francs from Turkey, while this country, 15th economy of Europe, has exported to 61 billion CFA francs from Cameroon.

Thanks to the recent dynamic of economic cooperation between the two countries, particularly with the economic mission led by the head of State of Cameroon, Paul Biya, to Ankara in March 2013; Turkey and Cameroon expect a trade volume of approximately 250 billion CFA francs by the year 2015.
