CMR to float 10 billion CFA bonds in November

The public Treasury of Cameroon will on Wednesday issue a tender for purchase of bonds to a tune of 10 billion CFA FRANCS. This was announced by the Bank of Central African (BEAC).

The bonds to be issued on Wednesday, will have dematerialised securities with a denomination per unit of one million CFAF and expiration of 26 weeks that is by January 13, 2015.

The interest will be discounted on the nominal value of the coupons, the deadline for subscription shall be next Wednesday, with the announcement of the results on Thursday, while the value and settlement date is next Friday.

Subscriptions are open to natural or legal persons under the financial institutions in the economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC) approved as 'Treasury specialists' by the Ministry of Finance of Cameroon.
