A four-day trade fair to showcase Turkish products has opened in Yaounde at the Turcam Hall in Mvan.

Since 24th September 2014, the over forty-four stands spread over an area of 4,100 m2 have been the site of attraction for curious visitors to catch a glimpse of Turkish-made products.

Products like cosmetics, electronics, textile, furniture and food items, amongst others will be displayed by the Turkish businessmen who are part of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.

According to Kerim Boysan of the Turcam Hall, the purpose of the exposition is not only to sell the products but also to establish a win-win business between Turkey and Cameroon.

The site is divided into two levels: a story level hosting fourteen VIP Turkish companies as well as some home companies and a ground level playing host to over thirty other stands.

Roundtable discussions to improve trade and evaluate business transactions between the two countries will feature at the exhibition fair.

To further strengthen business ties, the Turkish Minister Delegate of Economy, Adnan Yildrim earmarked the construction of a second Turkish exposition in Douala.

Minister Adnan Yildrim made this declaration during an audience granted by Cameroon Minister of Trade, Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana.
