Cameroon covers 153% of tenders submitted - BEAC

The public Treasury of Cameroon has covered up to 153 per cent of the amount put out to tender by submissions from the purchase of Treasury Assimilables in 26 weeks. This was issued on October 8, 2014, according to the Bank of Central Africa States (BEAC).

The Treasury announced that the amount for this financial operation was five billion CFA. The amount of total bids was 7,650 CFAF billion, but only four billion CFA have been served so far.

The proposed minimum rate was 1.7 per cent and a maximum rate of 3.8 percent with the rate limit of 1.9 percent and the weighted average interest of 1.9 percent rate.

Out of thirteen specialists in value of Treasury approved by the Ministry in charge of finance in Cameroon, eight have actually been bid.
