Cameroon to issue treasury bills of a 10 billion CFA FRANCS value

The public Treasury of Cameroon will from today give out, by way of invitation to tender, of comparable treasuries (OLT) at 52 weeks’ worth of 10 billion CFA FRANCS, said the Bank of Central Africa States (BEAC).

The BTA, whose shape is dematerialized, are due by July 10, 2015, ultimately reimbursement which the value nominal unit is a volume of issuance of 10 billion CFA FRANCS of CFAF 1 million.


Interests are discounted on the nominal value of the coupons; the deadline for subscription has been set for July 9, those whose results will be announced on July 10 and those for the value and regulation on July 11.

Subscriptions are open to natural or legal persons among the banks and financial institutions of the economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (Cemac) approved as 'Treasury specialists' by the Ministry of Finance of Cameroon.


This regards Afriland First Bank, International Bank of Cameroon for loan and credit (BICEC) Ecobank Cameroun, commercial Banks in Cameroon; Société Générale des Banques du Cameroun (SGBC), Standard Chartered Bank Cameroon (SCBC), United Bank for Africa (UBA), Union Bank Cameroon Limited (UBC), International Bank for Trade and Industry, BGFIBANK for Gabon and Ecobank Central Africa.
